Frequently Asked Questions
Below are a few answers to some relatively common questions. If your question is not posted in this section feel free to inquire us through use of the Contact Us page.
What is paintball?
A game of paintball usually involves two opposing teams seeking to eliminate all of the other team's players or to complete some other objective, such as retrieving a flag, eliminating a specific player, or other paintball variations. Depending on the style of paintball played, a paintball game can last from seconds to days, but the games we play usually last 5 to 15 minutes each.
Is it safe?
The sport of paintball is actually quite safe. According to U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission," Insurance statistics show that paintball is one of the safest sports, with fewer injuries per exposure than sports like football, soccer, basketball, and baseball."
At Davis Paintball we strive to keep paintball a safe sport. Our field stresses player safety by establishing well enforced rules to benefit the well beings of our guests. Each player is given a specific safety orientation and gear from one of our well trained staff members.
What should I wear?
We encourage players to wear pants and a long-sleeve shirt or sweat shirt. Paint does wash out, but remember that you will be running and crawling, and you may get dirty, that's the fun! So dress accordingly. Comfortable shoes such as tennis shoes or hiking boots are also highly recommended.
